Dann is our resident game designer, professional dreamer, world builder, scholar, founder, and madman. Dann has always lived in strange, fantastical worlds of his own making, and now we help him share those worlds and adventures with you. Dann has many creative outlets; from music to poetry to film. Dann continues to find himself flooded with game ideas!
“I have been designing games in both physical and digital form since I was 9 years old, after I fell in love with gaming most especially through Fireball Island. In 2013, I finally started my own publishing company, Dann Kriss Games, and with the help of my family and a few friends, we managed to begin releasing my games to the world. Sadly, as we were beginning to pick up real momentum, a number of tragedies struck at once, and then the pandemic cost us both our distribution and our ability to reorder from insane shipping costs. Now, I’ve teamed with Joe and his crew to finally get Tavern Masters back on the shelves! Not just a reprint, but a reimagining visually! We’re already working on the next set of expansions, many of which have been played and enjoyed as prototypes for years now. Beyond that, I’ve got dozens of more games long-played by us and ready for the world, and we’re going to start releasing them more and more as we grow! Dann has been a hard working entrepreneur since a young age, and enjoys being active in the gaming community and helping other independent publishers with their projects.
Dann created and released music with Crystal and friends under the name Chaoticum from 2004-current, and made hobbyist art films and short films with friends from 2009-2017 under the name Grim Magus Productions.
Dann has a deep love for fantasy, as well as sci-fi, and also post-apocalyptic settings like Fallout. He is a lover of sandbox style games, both digital and tabletop, and has enjoyed role-playing in many systems since he was 12.
Joe Passanisi
As many of you know, I've spent the last 12 years entertaining individuals and my loved ones at the Texas Renaissance Festival. I have run my other businesses and my assorted Consulting work during this time but my passion has been entertaining. I have been a gamer for decades and many have called me a "Power Gamer" for my extreme energy when playing board games or roll playing and even with video games.
Starting this new chapter of my life as the CEO of Power Gamers, LLC. I am very excited to take this amazing game (Tavern Masters), as well as the entire catalog of games, that Dann (Kriss) has created, to the next level. I’m thrilled to have met Dann through our mutual friend, Gary Denton and to have been introduced to Tavern Masters. It is an incredible game and was unfortunately near extinction due to a series of unfortunate events that started in 2020. Dann has given me the opportunity to work with him and run the business side of Power Gamers. This new Adventure has been moving fast and for the first time in years I'm excited to be attacking Life again.
Big Joes History
Joe, has been an entrepreneur, consultant and salesman for over 35 years.
Joe has had his own businesses since he was in High School. Along the way he also worked for several business and received numerous salesmanship awards, including Top Salesmen Awards from Pepsi Cola and Fastrac International.
Joe has been an avid gamer since he was a young boy, He would play cards with his Grandparents and they instilled a strong love for the gaming experience. Once Joe discovered role playing in High school he realized he had found his passion. He would go on to spend numerous hours with friends exploring new worlds and adventures. No matter if its Video Games, Board Games, Role Playing or Card Games Joe is always up for a new adventure and plans on winning.

CEO and Head Consultant of Connected, a Consulting Company, focusing on development and city-developer relationships. Founded in 2014.
Managing Partner of the 4 Duckmen of the Renaissance, An artisan Group that offers unique Items and experiences at the Texas Renaissance Festival In Todd Mission, Texas.
Joe has worked with and served on the boards of 18 charities over the course of the past 42 years. He has been a dedicated member of every community he has had the pleasure of being involved with.
Crystal Kriss
Writer, Lore, and Game Development
“There is nothing I love more than to weave together the four dimensional craft of world building.”
Crystal has been writing since she was seven. Having drafted a number of novels for an unreleased series with no satisfaction, she spends her days trying to find new and interesting stories to craft into the Lore of Destiny.
She has a deep love for the act of creation and story writing, as well as any medium that allows her to express some fragment of the chaotic miasma of fiction swirling behind her eyes.
Alicia Passanisi
Artist And Consultant of Game Play
Alicia, a true Artisan, works with many mediums; including Sculpting with Polymer Clay, Painting with both Acrylic and Water Color, Multi-Medium Art Work, and Costume Design. Alicia has been producing artwork for over thirty years, she sold her first painting at the age of 15. Alicia, since age 10, has won numerous artistic awards at both local and state (Texas) competitions.
Alicia is an accomplished Seamstress, making and producing everything from clothing for toys to Halloween costumes and even Prom and Wedding Dresses.
In 2010 She started sculpting with Polymer Clay. It is a unique sculpting clay that is infused with colors instead of having to Paint the final sculpt. Alicia is able to make Figurines, Ornaments & Cake Toppers. These amazing creations are available at the Texas Renaissance Festival, booth 258. She has created custom pieces that are currently on every continent and one is hypothetically on its way to space.
Alicia is also an accomplished children's book Author with currently three published titles. Their is currently a Tavern Masters Promo Pack available for her original book, Frank the Elephant.

Viktor is a stay at home boy learning how to make amazing edits for his channel and drawing amazing pieces of art. They tend to thrive in small groups by being the motivator of the group, helping hype up everyone and getting everyone to work together.
He likes to create magnificent illustrations to share with the world in hopes it can brighten the day of someone or even just bring a smile to their face and hopes to one day be a famous Youtuber! (@name_missiing)
Jordan Passanisi
Play Tester, Website Designer, Social Media Consultant and Sargent of Arms
Jordan is Odd Duck's go to girl! She truly is our MVP (Most Valuable Penguin...Person) She is referred to as the "Jordan of all Trades", from being an award winning competitive Weightlifter to a pirate sales person at the Texas Renaissance Festival and even her studies at Texas A & M University to become a Penguinologist, she really does it all.
Jordan loves playing complex games and Puzzles! She is always the first to try to take down her father. The games here at Power Gamers are right up her alley! She has also taken on the task of creating the Website and Social Media Accounts.
Jacqueline Passanisi
Play Tester and Social Media Guru
Jacqueline fell in love with Tavern Masters and made time in her busy schedule to study the cards and how they can play off of each other using the solo player mode, to increase her strategy and chances of winning when playing against her Power Gamer Parents. She is the youngest of the Passanisi clan and is just as competitive and passionate as the rest of them!
Jacqueline is extremely involved with her community and school! We look forward to having her young gamer mind on our team!
