Tavern Masters is a fast paced game where everyone takes their turn simultaneously, using the Day Phase to make their tavern the best they can with the supplies they can play, and the Night Phase to fill it with as many patrons as they can. After the Night Phase everyone “Counts their Till”. Should there be a tie, the game extends another round, but should someone make 20 or more gold at the end of any round that player is the true Tavern Master!
 
Tavern Masters is well established as a gateway game for those looking to break into the tabletop gaming world for the first time and as a soothing palate cleanser between longer turns in other epic games by tabletop veterans. With heavy fantasy themes and irreverent flavour text (and subtext), each player can enjoy their own experience in solo mode, a race to the finish in competitive mode, or race the clock in cooperative mode.
 
Have more than six players? Buy two sets and shuffle them together, the mechanics hold up great! Also, pick up some of the expansions, as many of them will help the core game support a play group larger than six.
